Formasupra is an innovative design studio founded by artist duo Ahmet Rüstem Ekici and Hakan Sorar, centering on 3D printing as a contemporary digital craft. Drawing inspiration from archaeological forms and world cultural heritage, the brand translates this deep inspiration into a unique interpretation of digital craftsmanship using AI-powered design processes and 3D printing technology. Formasupra offers limited-edition wearable art objects and sculptural design objects made from sustainable materials.

Furthermore, while enriching experiential spaces with Augmented Reality, all digital processes, from AI-powered algorithmic design and the creation of 3D objects from words to 3D objects, and from sketches to 3D models, are meticulously prepared for 3D printing by FormaSupra.

FormaSupra's first ever constantly evolving floral series blends the spirit of the digital with the perfect cycle of nature. This collection, where AI (Text-to-3D) blueprints meet human intuition and low-polygon aesthetics, redefines technology and craftsmanship. Thanks to the eco-friendly PLA we use in its production, plant waste transforms, returning to its natural state and becoming sculptural flowers that never fade. This selection, consisting of thistles, roses, tulips, hyacinths, cyclamen, crocuses, fritillaries, and shrubs, offers innovative, sustainable, and lasting vibrancy to your spaces.

3D Printed Vases - Algorithmic Design and Anatolian Stories

The FormaSupra 3D vase collection is the result of meticulously crafting AI (Text-to-3D) designs with human expertise. Each vase, made from plant-based, eco-friendly PLA material, adds a timeless and sculptural story to your spaces. The collection features geometric vases shaped with algorithmic precision, complemented by ancient interpretations of vases inspired by sculptural heads, ram's heads, and 'hands on hips' motifs.

One of the most special pieces in this selection, the DOMANİÇ frog vase, draws inspiration from the research conducted by Ahmet Rüstem Ekici and Hakan Sorar on the natural and archaeological memory of Kütahya. At the heart of the design, two powerful narratives converge: the dramatic journey of the frogs in Domaniç that awaken from hibernation each year and migrate side-by-side to Palazoğlu Pond, and the 5000-year-old frog-shaped votive vessels unearthed at Seyitömer Mound, supporting each other. This piece, which unites the ritual of nature with ancient heritage, brings a journey spanning thousands of years to the present day.

3D Printed Bags

Forms from the depths of history are brought back to life with digital craftsmanship in the FormaSupra bag collection. Inspired by ancient bag and basket figures found in ancient reliefs and archaeological remains, this special series is the result of meticulously refining AI (Text-to-3D) sketches with human expertise.

This collection, which blends archaeological heritage with digital craftsmanship, is produced in a limited edition of only 100 pieces using eco-friendly PLA material. We prioritize zero waste and sustainability in our production process; therefore, the color variations corresponding to the edition numbers are shaped according to our workshop's current filament consumption cycle. More than just an accessory, this design is a sustainable wearable art object that brings the elegance of the past and ancient stories to the present.

About Our Products, Materials Used, and 3D Printing Process

At FormaSupra, we pay great attention to every detail of our designs and the production process. Below you will find what you need to know to get to know our products better and build a long-lasting relationship with them:

Digital Craftsmanship: The Nature and Aesthetics of 3D Printing. Each FormaSupra piece is brought to life using 3D printing technology, shaping each item layer by layer through digital craftsmanship. This innovative production method gives us the freedom to create complex and unique forms, while imbuing each product with its own texture and character. The very fine lines or slight texture variations visible on the product surfaces are natural features of the 3D printing process, reinforcing the uniqueness of each piece and giving it a handcrafted feel. These details are the distinctive signature of digital craftsmanship.

Our Eco-Friendly and Innovative Material: PLA (Polylactic Acid) In our designs, we primarily use PLA, a vegan thermoplastic material derived from 100% renewable plant resources such as corn starch or sugarcane. PLA is an environmentally conscious option due to its biodegradability in industrial composting facilities (when appropriate conditions are met). Besides being lightweight, it offers ideal durability and aesthetics for our decorative objects and wearable art pieces. At FormaSupra, we consciously choose this eco-friendly material that both reflects our artistic vision and respects our planet.

Important Information for the Use and Maintenance of Our Products

To help your FormaSupra products maintain their beauty and shape for many years, please pay attention to the following recommendations:

Cleaning: Use only a slightly damp, soft cloth to clean your products. Abrasive chemicals, alcohol-based cleaners, or harsh detergents may damage the surface. Do not wash in a dishwasher.
Heat and Sunlight Caution: PLA material is sensitive to heat. Avoid exposing your products to direct and intense sunlight for extended periods, heat sources such as radiators, or temperatures above 50°C (122°F). High heat can cause deformation of the product shape.
Important Note Regarding Our Vases: Our decorative vase series is primarily designed as an artistic and aesthetic object. Due to the layered nature of 3D printing, they may occasionally leak if liquids (such as water) are poured directly into them. If you wish to display live flowers or plants that require water in your vases, we strongly recommend using a glass container of appropriate size or a completely waterproof inner container that will not detract from the aesthetics. This will both extend the life of your vase and ensure safe use.
General Usage Recommendations: Although our designs are carefully crafted, please remember that 3D-printed objects are inherently fragile. Please handle gently and protect them from hard impacts, drops, and excessive pressure.
